Once engaged, soon-to-be-brides start flipping through bridal magazines and scouring Pinterest to collect all their wedding inspo. The dress. The hair. The cake. The photography. Often times the wedding veil doesn’t make the list of important things to think about right away. Why is that? There are a few reasons. Many times, brides won’t even start thinking about a veil until they have their dream dress, which is understandable. Sometimes their wedding hairstyle is prioritized over the veil, and they haven’t decided on an updo, again, understandable. Plus, there are some brides that choose to forego a veil altogether. But in reality, many brides simply forget about the veil until the last minute! I can’t tell you how many brides have contacted us a week before their wedding, panicked, hoping we can get their order to them in time, and we are always happy to accommodate.

There are some benefits to planning ahead, as you may have guessed. It is a good idea to have your veil, or at least know what it will look like if you plan to have have a hair and makeup trial with your stylist. They need to how the veil or headpiece with be attached toyour hair, and how big and how heavy it is so they can plan on how to place it securely in your hair. You may be looking for something really unique and specific, and need to have a piece custom made. We LOVE to do custom designs, but we are limited by how quickly we can get any materials we don’t have in the design studio. And in the event you order something online and realize something is wrong or it isn’t what you were looking for, you have time to find something else.

Check out these GORGEOUS custom orders for some of our wonderful brides!
